About us

Since September 1, 2022, the Forez Hospital Centre (Montbrison site, Mother-Child Centre), with the support of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Regional Health Agency (ARS), has set up a pilot structure for the “1000 Premiers Jours de l’enfant” (1000 first days of a child).

The objective of this structure is, on one hand, to coordinate and deploy primary prevention actions in mental health and environmental health and, on the other hand, to put in place support for parenthood, in connection with this sensitive period of development.

In September 2020, the report “1000 Premiers Jours” recommended measures to support this fundamental period, when everything begins for the child and which lays the foundations for the adult they will become. After reading the report, professionals from the Mother-Child Centre were convinced of the relevance of implementing a project around this issue in the territory.

A first steering committee meeting took place on December 13, 2022, bringing together local health, social, and education professionals who work in perinatal and early-childhood care.

This COPIL is responsible for considering and responding together to the needs of the territory in terms of support for parenting and primary prevention in its somatic, psychological, environmental and social dimensions.
