Premature birth

Premature birth

The SEVE network (Elena Network’s Vulnerable Children Monitoring) offers monitoring of children under 7 years old and born prematurely (i.e., before 32 weeks and 6 days), with severe neonatal cerebral pathology, with severe congenital heart disease or with severe intrauterine growth retardation (less than 1,500g).

This monitoring is made of rotating visits between a hospital paediatrician and a liberal paediatrician or your general practitioner (who must be on the adherent list) as well as complementary monitoring for the child’s development according to a precise calendar. For very premature ones (less than 28 weeks and 6 days), the network bears the costs of a psychomotor assessment and, if necessary up, to 10 appointments.

Moreover, a partnership with the French Health Insurance allows to build cases for possible financial aids for psychomotor support.
