The Forez Hospital Centre offers various workshops for women who have recently delivered.

A workshop to discuss going back home, on the way it is possible to create a secure environment and to broach the subject of preventing sudden infant death, domestic accidents and the risk of shaken baby syndrome.

A time for discussion and information to think about the ways to feed the baby, the spouse’s place, going back to work, but also the rhythm of the newborn, their competences, their needs, the signs of effective breastfeeding and the benefits of skin-to-skin contacts.

A workshop on babywearing’s techniques and benefits, whether in a sling or in a baby carrier while addressing safety rules and the limitations.

A workshop to answer the various questions like “When to start?” or “Which food should be avoided?” while speaking of the allergens, the necessary equipment, nutritional quality, and food diversification led by the child.

A workshop on the theme of sleep with the security rules when you share your room or your bed, which environment can promote falling asleep, and the physiology of sleep in children but also in adults.

To support you along your breastfeeding journey, you will be offered advice, weight-gain monitoring, help in case of pain and answers if you have questions about returning to work and breastfeeding, etc.
